Meet Tanja
Founder | Maker | Yoga | Meditation |Wellness Guide
Born in Germany and deeply influenced by her two remarkable grandmothers, Tanja's journey into wellness and natural living began in childhood. One grandmother, orphaned during World War II, taught the art of self-sufficiency—how to craft everyday essentials from scratch. The other, descended from French Gypsy heritage, passed down ancestral knowledge of healing herbs and magical potions.
These early experiences sparked a lifelong love for nature, plants, and healing. In 2016, Tanja began creating small-batch, hand-crafted wellness products using locally sourced ingredients—each one made with love, intention, and tradition.
Joyful, full of breath, and full of heart, Tanja brings a radiant energy to everything she does. Her path has been shaped not only by a deep connection to the natural world but also by her compassionate service. She has worked at Harbor House, supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence—a chapter that deepened her understanding of trauma, resilience, and the power of healing.
A dedicated traveler on the journey of healing, Tanja discovered mindfulness and meditation as a teenager. In her 20s, she embraced the physical practice of yoga, experiencing the transformative connection of body, mind, and spirit. Today, she shares this wisdom as a soulful yoga guide, creating nurturing spaces for others to reconnect with themselves.
When she’s not teaching, creating, or holding space, Tanja volunteers as a riverkeeper, digs through crates of vinyl as a proud music nerd, and continues to find joy in the simple, powerful magic of nature.
